Patterns No. 1
This two-sided fluid elegance of molten glass is a stunning work of art to grace any wall or mantel. Several sets of 1”wide x 12” long strips of alternating colored glass were kiln fused at a high temperature to form pattern bars. They were then cut into smaller pieces with a diamond saw. The cut pieces were then positioned on the kiln shelf, on edge, in an abstract pattern and fired at a very high temperature. As the glass melted it formed into this intricate and eye catching pattern.
The glass piece measures 18.5” x 18.5” x 0.25” and 18.5” x 23” x 3” with the stand.
