Birds in Flight #2
This sculpture depicts a flock of 19 large birds taking to the air. Each bird was first kiln fired separately. In the second firing the birds were positioned into a flock arrangement. Kiln release material was positioned under the bodies and wings to give them shape. The flock was then mounted onto a clear glass rock base which was created during a separate firing.
This item measures 13”wide x 13“high x 7.5” deep.
