Is it a plane or wings of a bird? Let your imagination decide. This free form sculpture was made by fusing green, yellow and white strips of glass into a rectangular shape and then fired again to form the final shape. The center section, the cabin, has five windows to see below. Glass stringer air waves add a subtle sense of motion. Strips of matching glass form the landing gear.
