Birds in Flight #1
This small sculpture depicts a flock of 13 birds taking to the air. Each bird was first kiln fired individually.
For the second firing the birds were positioned into a flock arrangement and kiln release material was positioned under the bodies and wings to give them shape. The flock is mounted onto a clear glass rock base which was created in a separate firing.
This item measures 8” wide x 9.5 “high.
