Shallow Leaf Plate
This plate is made by combining several layers of glass. The top layer utilizes a pattern of green glass forming the shape of the leaf. Sprinkles of blue glass chips were added to a solid clear glass base. These layers of glass were then placed on a solid white glass base and fired flat in the kiln. Bubbles formed on some of the leaves giving the effect of drops of water. This was then fired and slumped into its final shape.
This item measures 10×4.75 inches × 1 inch high.
