Deep Square Bowl
This striking and colorful bowl was made by adding colorful glass frit to a solid black sheet of glass for the inside of the bowl. The project was then kiln fired at a high temperature so that some of the glass frit texture would remain. To add interest to the outside of the bowl curved glass stringers were then added and kiln fired. The final kiln firing was at a temperature that would bend the glass into the bowl shape. This colorful bowl would make an attractive addition to any room and could be used for displaying fruit or for holding chips, etc.
This bowl measures 11.5 inches square x 3.5 inches high.
